Lacey Flanagan Yarmouth

Artist

Lacey Flanagan has always been interested in art. She knew she wanted to be a creative professional from a young age, but she wasn't sure where her career would take her. The colors she saw around her inspired her everywhere she went. Despite her love in musical instruments, she preferred to create beautiful artwork with her hands. When she was in school, she attended as many subjects as she could in order to find out what her interest would be. She eventually focused on painting.

She studied in a range of subjects. She experimented with sculptures, canvases, nature, and other colours. She was always attracted to bright, vibrant colors, feeling that they had a unique meaning for her. She employs these hues in an attempt to bring out something fresh in everything she works with. She was certain that her commitment to her creative area would bring out the best in all of her subjects. That is precisely what occurred.

Ultimately, her main purpose is to make others happy. She recognizes that there is a lot of stress in the world right now, and she feels that if someone can leave those problems behind for even a few seconds while looking at her artwork, it will be worth it. She is motivated by a variety of imaginative views in her surroundings. She is exposed to a lot of things that most people do not see on a daily basis since she lives in the woods of Maine. She may go for a walk along Main Street, a stroll in the forest, or a relaxing stroll along the ocean.

One of her special abilities is her ability to bring almost anything to life. This adaptability distinguishes her from other artists in the sector. She strives to connect with her topics by painting the same object in a variety of ways. She may, for example, go for a walk along the seaside at various times of the day. The artwork may appear very different depending on how the light strikes the water and the time of year. When she paints individuals, her subjects often comment on her ability to bring out a part of themselves that they were unaware existed.

Throughout her career, she has experimented with many techniques to various styles of painting. She doesn't necessarily discuss diverse landscapes or notions of tradition, but she strives to include color and varied forms into her paintings. Even though there are times when she can paint something precisely as she sees it, she strives to put her own creative spin to it. As a consequence, her work has been described as impressionist with a touch of realism, but she attempts to bring her own truth to the table every time she paints anything new.
